
AI and real-time data for safer cities: the AIS4UM project launches
6 July 2026Urban Tech 2026 – The Urban Technology Show, the event dedicated to electric mobility, traffic management, critical infrastructures, telecommunications and connected technologies, presents EXPÒL, the new thematic area focused on the professional development of Local Police officers and commanders, with a specific focus on urban security management.
Set within an internationally relevant exhibition framework, EXPÒL will bring together technology companies, institutions, Local Police forces and training organisations at BolognaFiere from 7 to 8 October 2026 in a dedicated space designed to foster dialogue between innovation, skills, professional opportunities and the strategic role of human capital in ensuring community safety.
The programme will unfold over two days, featuring high-level training sessions, institutional round tables, opportunities for discussion between Local Police departments and initiatives aimed at enhancing and supporting professional expertise. Qualified speakers will include Local Police commanders and managers, public officials, magistrates, lawyers, and experts in administrative and financial matters.
The scientific design and management of the programme are entrusted to IUSPol S.r.l.s., a company founded on the decade-long experience of a team of professionals specialising in training and continuing professional development for Local Police forces.
The event’s main sponsor is GA Europa Azzaroni, which since 1965 has supported the evolution of public administrations by making their activities more efficient and secure through the supply of innovative technological solutions.
At the same time, the following events will take place: secsolutionforum – The innovative event for the security industry 2026 (security and cybersecurity, organised by Ethos Media Group), Asphaltica 2026 (road paving and construction, organised by Siteb) and Saie 2026 (building and construction, organised by Senaf).
