On Tuesday 7 October, the BolognaFiere Congress Centre will host MEGAWATT DAY 2025, the first Italian Conference dedicated to EV High Power Charging (HPC) charging systems, Megawatt Charging Systems (MCS), the role of CPOs (Charging Point Operators), the evolution of fueling stations into EV charging stations and battery-integrated systems (BESS) used to charge vehicles that require large amounts of energy in a short time, such as cars, trucks, electric buses, industrial and construction vehicles, machines, but also boats/yachts, eVTOLs, etc., greatly increasing the flexibility of charging systems in cities and on the motorway network, and in all places where high power is needed in a short time in fast and ultra-fast charging stations.

The first edition of MEGAWATT DAY will take place on Tuesday 7 October 2025 in the “James Watt” Hall of the BolognaFiere Congress Centre, and will be co-organized by BATTERY INDUSTRY, the world’s leading sector portal with over 93,000 followers on LinkedIn, as part of TRAFFIC 2025 and E-CHARGE 2025 – the trade show dedicated to the EV charging industry and market – both scheduled at BolognaFiere on the following days, Wednesday 8 and Thursday 9 October, at the same time as E-BUS EUROPE 2025, FLEET MANAGER ACADEMY 2025 and FORTRONIC 2025.
The protagonists of the Italian, European and global industry of HPC (High Power Charging) systems, MCS (Megawatt Charging System), CPOs (Charging Point Operators), managers of gas filling station networks, and of large stationary batteries (BESS) will meet at MEGAWATT DAY 2025, the first conference and networking business event for the sector in Italy: take part in MEGAWATT DAY 2025 to meet and discuss with the main Italian and international protagonists, including the “pioneers” (who dedicated themselves to this fascinating universe many years ago when the sector was still in its infancy), entrepreneurs, managers, consultants and the entire world of professionals who in various capacities are involved in this dynamic sector.
