Autostrada del Brennero will exhibit at Traffic 2026. it’s a public limited company operating under a service concession arrangement. 84.75% of its stock is held by a number of local governments and public entities, 14.16% by private shareholders and 1.09% by the Company. The A22 is 314 km long, linking Modena to the Brenner Pass and crossing through the Emilia-Romagna, Lombardy, Veneto and Trentino-South Tyrol regions along one of Europe’s main north-south transport corridors. It represents a vital link between northern Italy and central Europe. The company’s mission is “To ensure the highest efficiency of the motorway service from the Brenner Pass to Modena through increasingly safe, digital and green transport, by constantly investing in maintenance, modernisation, renewable energy and new services”. In the 1990s, with the foresight that road traffic would increase, the Company began actively promoting intermodal transport by acquiring a direct controlling stake in the freight rail company STR – Brennero Trasporto Rotaia, the parent company of STR2.
